  • League wind-up including awards for coaches and athletes;
  • Volunteer coaches permitted to register their child at half price.
Coach Development:

A secondary goal of JrB Volleyball is to provide volunteer coaches an opportunity for personal development through the sport of volleyball. To achieve this JrB Volleyball will provide a number of opportunities for volunteer coaches to improve their coaching.

Ken Bentley, the program's Head Coach and Head Coach of the University of Manitoba Women's Volleyball Program, will offer a coaching clinic for coaches to attend. Coaches will also have the opportunity to drop in on any Bison practice and speak to Ken about coaching issues. Furthermore, JrB Volleyball offers a series of fall camps that are attended by many of its club athletes. These "Fall Skills Camps" are supervised by Ken Bentley and all instructors are coaches within the JrB Volleyball club system. Volunteer parent coaches are welcome to attend any of these camps and participate as assistant coaches. Feel free to ask for direction on any matter of interest. Head coaches will be happy to take the time to demonstrate with the use of athletes that are in attendance. Also, any visiting volunteer coach can bring their daughter out to participate at no cost.

Volunteer based:

JrB Volleyball is a community-based, volunteer-driven organization. None of its goals would be attainable without the help of interested and committed volunteers.
