What is the cost? The cost for the upcoming 2012 Beach volleyball season is $50.00 for an individual; $180/team of 4s; $270/team of 6s.
What is the registration process? You can register in person at unit B - 2003 Portage ave; in person at our Open House on Sunday, June 17, 2012; by mail by mailing in the registration portion of our "Summer Smash" brochure; or online by clicking on the "OTHER PAYMENT" button on the right-hand side of the page.
Can we register for more than one team? Yes. For example you can register of the Thursday night 4s and the Sunday night 6s.
Can I register alone (with no team)? Yes. You may register without a teammate and attend our Open House on June 17, 2012 where we will try our best to match you up with other players looking for teammates. However, if we are unsuccessful in finding you a team a refund will be issued.
How long is the season? The league runs for 10 weeks starting the third week of June.
When are games played? They are played on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons/evenings.
Where are games played? All games during the 2012 beach volleyball season will be held at the Ranch Saloon, 1931 Pembina Hwy. (just north of Bishop Grandin. When and where are practices? No organized practices have been planned for the 2012 season.
Can teams have coaches? No.
Are teams tiered? Teams will be tiered if the number of participating teams allows for it. We require 8 teams per tier.
How many tournaments are scheduled? The Summer Smash Adult Co-ed Beach League includes a season-ending Championship Tournament which is held on Sunday, August 26, 2012. |
