League Details

League Schedule For the 2012 Winter Season 2012:

Registration is now over.

Season Schedule - The 2012 winter league will start on Sunday, January 15th, with an Open House that will help individuals and small groups form their teams. Everyone is welcome.

The First League Games are January 22nd and the season runs until Sunday, March 18th, 2011. The Championship tournament will be held on the week-end of March 25th.

Players - All leagues are co-ed. 6 on the court, minimum 2 women. Team sizes should range from 8-12 depending on the commitment level of each player.

Early Bird Registration Fee: $360/team (10 weeks) or $70/p for individuals.

Registration Fee: $380/team (10 weeks) or $80/p for individuals.

Equipment - WMVA provides balls and ensures that all gyms have solid nets and antennas. Players will set-up and take down the nets at the gyms.

Game Coordinators – Alex Pieper will monitor most of the volleyball games. See rules for more details on the WMVA policies on self-officiating.

Game Times – For the fall 2011 and winter 2012 season game start times will range from 6 pm - 10:00 pm on Sunday evenings only.

Game Venue – League games will be held at Lavallee School, 505 St Anne’s Rd & Salisbury Morse Place, 795 Prince Rupert.

Practice – For the Fall 2011 and Winter 2012 season TBA.

How do I Register?

There are three ways to register:

1- On-line Registration: To register on-line for our adult co-ed volleyball league simply click on the "Other Payment" button on the right-hand side of this page. If you are registering a team be sure to include the names of team members in the comments section.

Once you submit the form you will be e-mailed a receipt. That is your proof of purchase and your confirmation that the registration was properly received.

2- Mail-in Registration: To register by mail for our fall, winter or spring session simply print the "Registration Form-Adults" and ,ail it in with your cheque.

Please remember to forward the completed form to the address listed on the form along with your payment in full. In this case, you will be forwarded a confirmation e-mail once we process your registration. If you do not receive an e-mail confirming reception of the form within 10 working days please contact us at info@minorvolleyball.com .

3- In Person: To register in person simply drop by our offices at: unit B-2003 Portage ave. (across from Assiniboine Park). Please call ahead to make an appointment as staff are in and out. You can also register at the official "Open House" at the start of every season.
